"When I first met Rocco in Kenya, I knew he was the right person for this trip. With his decades of experience, he brings immense knowledge regarding the biodiversity and wildlife in Kenya. No one else can bring this journey as close to you as Rocco. It was an unforgettable experience, and I would embark on this journey again anytime."
"Rocco has been to Kenya so many times that he knows the area and the people there very well. He makes every day a unique experience. As a photographer, he also knows how to put the animals in the best light and thus give you wonderful memories to take home."
"With Rocco, every safari becomes an adventure – after a very short time, we had already spotted the Big Five – simply great."
"Rocco, a passionate safari expert, brought the wonderful wildlife of Africa closer to us with great dedication and guided us through the Masai Mara for 8 days. We benefited from his excellent contacts and enjoyed spending the whole day with the animals, accompanied by equally professional local Maasai drivers. We had already spotted all of the 'Big Five' at least once by day 2."
Over 20 Years of Experience!
When I first came to Kenya in 1986, I was a photographer looking for new subjects and experiences. The magic of wild animals immediately captivated me and has not let me go since. Since 1996, I have been traveling Kenya much more intensively. From 2005 to 2012, I spent up to 11 months annually in Kenya’s parks. Most of that time in Samburu and Masai Mara. This allowed me to gain a very deep insight into these parks. The contacts I made with the local people enabled me to discover places and paths that many will never see. I don’t like driving in convoys; I prefer to explore my own paths.
Breakfast and lunch under an acacia or fig tree, in a safe place of course, is a contemplative and refreshing break, offering space to share experiences and philosophize.
For me, safari means seeking the vastness, driving slowly, observing, enjoying, simply being, IN THE HERE AND NOW.
If you honor and respect nature and wildlife, it will reward you with unique moments…
